Did you know that World Emoji Day is coming? Wait, you didn’t know there is a World Emoji Day? Of course there is World Emoji Day! And it’s on July 17th! So what are you going to do to celebrate this Sunday? You can check out the new emoji just released by Emojipedia!
The emoji list is now at version 15 and the Emojipedia announcement includes drafts on the suggested list. How they ultimately look on Apple devices will vary, but they will be very similar to Emojipedia’s concepts.
Also, some of the emoji on the list “might not come true,” according to Emojipedia, but because there are so few, we’re expected to see them all. The final list will be approved in September, meaning we could start using them in an OS update in early 2023.
Some of the new emoji are in the image at the top of this article. The first is Shaking Face, followed by hearts of the varieties Light Blue, Gray and Pink. And then there’s another set of right and left pushing hands in different skin tones. But as always, the best are the most random and unique:
This might make Eeyore happy.
I’m a big fan of ginger, but this looks like a sickly digestive tract.
A Sikh symbol of military history and spiritualism.
Before that time, moose are quite roaming.
For those moments when you need to shake things up.
There are many more new emoji including a jellyfish, goose and single wing that you can see in the full list of version 15.
