We hope the Mac mini will soon have the option of an M1 Pro or M1 Max, like the MacBook Pro 2021 has. When this rumored model arrives, it will likely be a replacement for the Intel-powered Mac mini that Apple still sells, and it will be priced higher than current M1 Mac mini models. Speaking of the older 3.0GHz 6-core Intel Mac mini that Apple still sells, this could be attractive if you’d rather not switch to Apple’s M1 chips at this point. Best refurbished Mac mini deals
Although Apple lowers the price of its Macs from time to time, this is quite rare: Apple never really offers discounts except through its official refurbished store.
With that in mind, we recommend that you visit the Apple Refurbished Store, where you can find affordable Mac mini models. These refurbished models are Mac minis that have been returned to Apple, perhaps due to a malfunction. Apple completely overhauls these models and offers them with a one-year warranty.
Amazon also has a certified refurbished store for Apple products, but we don’t recommend buying any products that are more than five years old – unfortunately most of the products we see in the refurbished Amazon store are very old.
